Timmy (RSPCA Macclesfield)

11/2/13 Gorgeous Timmy has found a new home :)

Timmy (formerly known as Blackie) is just gorgeous, isn’t he? He is a collie cross of around 9 years old and is currently being cared for at RSPCA Macclesfield due to being kept in appalling conditions by his former owner.

Timmy had been confined in a one metre square concrete room with a German Shepherd. He was occasionally let out into the garden, but was rarely exercised. When he arrived in rescue, he had to have his coat shaved at the back due to the faeces embedded in it. Although he is a little matted, he looks great and will look even better with a good grooming, which he will have soon!

Despite his sad past, Timmy is a very friendly boy with a lovely temperament. He enjoys going for walks and can be quite strong on the lead. You would never guess his age because he is so active and loves to play. Everyone who has met him at the Greater Manchester Animal Hospital and the rescue just love him!

Below you can see a video of this fun-loving lad playing with some other dogs in the snow.

Timmy has lived with two other dogs and there were also cats on his former property so he should hopefully be okay to live with a confident cat. He enjoys playing and running around more than anything, especially fetch and toys. He is also very loving and full of doggy happiness!

Timmy is already neutered and microchipped. He has been health checked, wormed/flead and started vaccinations including kennel cough. He possibly has the onset of cataracts and a fatty lump, but is otherwise healthy.

Timmy needs and deserves to be in a warm loving home asap!
