Ice (South East Dog Rescue, Kent)

25/2/2018 – Gorgeous Ice has found a home!

This beautiful boy is Ice, a 9 year old Alaskan Malamute who is sadly looking for a new home due to his owner becoming too ill to care for him any longer. Ice is in the care of South East Dog Rescue at the moment, hoping his new family will find and claim him!

Although Ice is an older boy, he is still energetic and strong! His new owner will need to be able to keep up with him as he gets very enthusiastic when it is time for walkies and can pull a little on the lead at first. He is a gentle giant who adores children and would love to be part of a family again. Because of his size and enthusiasm, however, any children in the home should be dog-savvy and used to bigger dogs.

Ice loves to spend time outdoors but he loves lounging in the house too. On hot days, he would like access to the garden to cool off. He travels well in the car, loves his walks, but is not great with recall, which is typical of his breed.

Ice is a loving and friendly boy who adores everyone he meets. He deserves a family to love him as much as his previous owners did. He will shower you with cuddles and devote himself to you.
