Jess (Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary)

11/12/2017 – Gorgeous Jess has been rehomed :)

This is Jess and she is a gorgeous Patterdale Terrier born in 2007. She is very friendly and enjoys playing with toys – you’ll be tired long before she is! So Jess is looking for an active, new home with the help of Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary in Stadhampton.

Jess is very active and youthful for her age and really enjoys going out for long walks. She is very playful and loves running around stretching her legs in the exercise yard. She can get over-excited and lose concentration when out in different environments. She has been having lots of fun positive training which is having such a good impact on her behaviour. New owners will need to have the time and patience to continue her training in the new home so Jess can continue to shine.

Jess can sometimes be reactive on walks when she sees other dogs, but, again, this is something that is improving with training and can be transferred into her new home. She can be protective of high reward treats like roasted bones, so generally these must be avoided.

Jess could live in most home environments; the more active the better, but unfortunately could not live with young children (12+). Jess could not live with other dogs or cats as she is a bit picky about whom she likes.

Jess is just a delightful, happy-go-lucky lady just waiting for her luck to change when her new owners walk through the gate.
