Misha (Ashbourne Animal Welfare, Derbyshire)

Fun and friendly Misha is a 7 year old Akita x German Shepherd girl who is at Ashbourne Animal Welfare in Derbyshire because she was too big and strong for her owners. If you’re a fan of spinach or can easily eat three shredded wheat, and you love playtime and cuddles, please read on as you could be the lucky person that gets to take Misha home!

Misha is a real softy, a true gentle giant, and she loves people and would be a lapdog if she could find a lap strong enough to sit on. She can live with children, but due to her size they will need to be at least 10 years old. Misha hasn’t really been socialised with other dogs so she doesn’t like them. She isn’t to be trusted with cats/poultry/livestock or other small furries at all.

Misha loves a fuss and she also loves walks and will need a fair amount of exercise. She also loves to play, especially football, and is it really comical to watch her galloping around.

Misha is spayed and in good health. She just needs an equally strong, healthy person to love, play with and cuddle.

If you think you could be the fun-loving person/people that Misha would love to live with, please contact Ashbourne Animal Welfare as follows:
