Rufus (National Animal Welfare Trust, Berkshire)

Super cute Rufus is a lovely, 14 year old Terrier Cross who finds himself looking for a new home after he was no longer wanted by his owners. Having been in boarding kennels previous to coming to the National Animal Welfare Trust in Berkshire, he is lucky to be there now searching for his forever home.

Please don’t let Rufus’s age put you off as he is still very active, a typical terrier. He loves going for walks and playing with squeaky toys, although he does have a high prey drive and so would need to be muzzled on walks at all times. Rufus does not like other dogs so his new, forever home needs to be pet-free and adult only.

Rufus loves having cuddles and a good groom which is just as well because of his lovely, furry coat; he has recently had a trim and is looking very handsome. He has a lot of life left in him and would love someone to share it with. He can be left alone for up to 4 hours.

Rufus has been checked by a vet and assessed by an experienced animal care team to understand the type of home he requires for his own particular needs. He has been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and will be rehomed with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.
