Sci has made herself right at home.

There must be a wonderful someone out there who could help this dear lady, Super Cute Individual aka Sci, with a permanent foster home, preferable close for visits to the vets of RSPCA Essex South West in Chingford. Even if you are not close to Chingford, please still apply and they may be able to work something out. All bills will be paid by the charity.

Sci is a brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is over 15 years old and has been in kennels nearly 3 years in the care of Social Services and the rescue has known her all this time and has been helping to care for her and exercise her. Sci has been thoroughly spoilt, but kennels in no place for a dog of this age. The staff all absolutely adore this dog and have treated her as their own for all this time. She has now been signed over to them.

Sci is an old lady and it’s not known how long she has in this world: it could be weeks, months or even years. She simply needs a permanent home where she can be loved, adored and cherished for the rest of her days. She knows lots of basic commands and loves to snooze. She loves food and treats. Sci can be left for short periods.

Sci is on a number of medications for arthritis and she has some other age-related issues. She may or may not need regular trips to the vet.

Sci is looking for a home with no other cats, dogs or young children, though she can live with secondary school-age children. She would like someone in most of the day, e.g. retired person or couple, in a home with access to a garden and not too many steps. Sci won’t be able to do lots of steps.

Sci needs short walks only and someone who is able to take her to the vet when needed and also able to give daily medication and follow and implement advice on caring for an elderly dog.
