Tish (Romford Greyhound Homing, Essex)

Tish is a very beautiful fawn grizzle greyhound girl. She was born in October 2007 and retired from racing in February 2011. Sadly she’s still waiting for a permanent home; that’s 6 whole years in kennels! Tish is being rehomed by Romford Greyhound Homing who are very keen to see this lady find her well deserved retirement home.

Despite being 9 years old, Tish is still very fit and she really enjoys her walks. Initially she wasn’t great around other dogs, so one of the kennel volunteers started taking her on weekly trips to the country park. Getting out and about has really helped her confidence and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Tish will still need to be the only dog in her new home, but she would love to be with a greyhound-savvy human who will continue with her socialisation.

Tish is looking for a home without cats and small furries. She loves people and is good around children, so will fit well into a family environment. Tish doesn’t ask for much, just the love and comforts she deserves. Give her these small acts of kindness and your love will be returned tenfold. You’ll have the best companion you could possibly wish for!

Tish is spayed and has no known health problems.
