Please help Bonnie by sharing her page!
This gorgeous, chunky bundle of love is Bonnie! She’s affectionately known as BonBon and is an 11-year-old Aylestone Bulldog who has been waiting patiently at Bath Cats and Dogs Home for quite a while now and it surely is her turn to have some good luck and find a lovely new home.
See how adorable Bonnie BonBon is in this lovely little video:
Bonnie would like a quiet home, with a single owner, where she is your only pet. She tends to bond so closely with her special person that she can become protective if there is more than one person in the home. She tends to be shy with new people, so wouldn’t want a home with lots of people coming and going, and she doesn’t want to live with children. She would like her potential new owner to visit her in Bath a few times before she goes home, so that she can get to know you at her own pace. Once you knows and loves you, Bonnie will lean into you lovingly for a fuss, and she especially likes having her back scratched. She also loves to stay close to you.
Bonnie is a clever girl who knows lots of commands, including giving both paws, stay, down and a very impressive roll-over. Go Bonnie!! She is playful too and enjoys throwing her soft toys around.
Bonnie doesn’t want to be around other dogs, so stays on her lead on walks, but she is very well-behaved on the lead and will walk past dogs nicely. She is trained to wear a muzzle out and about. However, particularly in the summer, Bonnie prefers to stay at home, so the rescue will be happy to rehome her as a companion dog, provided she has a nice garden to play in – so it doesn’t matter if you can’t get out often.
Last year, Bonnie had some cancerous lumps successfully removed. This wonderful girl is a true survivor and she thoroughly deserves a loving home to relax in for her autumn years. Could you help beautiful Bonnie?
