Cracker (Senior Staffy Club, fostered Norfolk)

Cracker is a gorgeous 7 year old Staffy boy in the care of Senior Staffy Club, in foster in Norfolk. He longs for a lovely home as an only pet. Nice children from age 8 would be jolly for him, either to live with or to visit.

Cracker had spent quite a lot of time in kennels over the past couple of years, before he arrived at SSC. He copes OK but he really, really wants a home. He’s such a loving boy, he just wants a family to love again!

Cracker has lots of energy but he’s also very happy to sit on the sofa with you and relax. He likes going in the car for road trips and is quite good at the vets.

Cracker’s problem is that he really doesn’t like other dogs very much, and needs a family who will understand that. SSC‘s behaviourist is helping him with this by trying to desensitise him to other dogs. She will offer guidance to his new family after he is adopted. You’ll need to be able to walk him in a quiet area, at least to start with.

Cracker walks beautifully on his lead and is keen to learn. He learns quickly too. He had a go at some agility recently for the first time, and really enjoyed it!
