Hardy (Pawprints To Freedom, fostered Kent)

Please say hello to this appealingly scruffy gent called Hardy. He’s a medium-sized, 9 year old Crossbreed who is looking for the chance of a great home where he can boost his confidence, be given unconditional love and never let go.

Hardy is currently enjoying the comforts of a foster home in Bromley, Kent, provided by Pawprints to Feeedom. He is rather a handsome chap who is a bit shy and he just wants to please. He can be homed with children over 8 years old and gets on with other dogs.

Hardy is house-trained and is happy to be left in the day with no destruction. He sleeps all night and is doing really well with basic training.

This is what his foster carer has to say about him:
“Awww, Hardy is an absolute sweetheart but he’s very shy though. Once you win him over, then you’ll have his eternal adoration. He loves head scratches and will offer you his paw if he wants more. He’s fully house-trained. He likes to spend most of the day napping near you, but one thing he does absolutely need is a crate of his own to escape to when he’s overwhelmed. His crate needs to be somewhere quiet as he doesn’t like being disturbed and will bark at you.

He can be quite vocal towards strangers as he’s a nervous boy but he’s not aggressive and easy to calm down. He’s good on walks and doesn’t pull. He’s got quite sensitive skin, so his new owners will have to be careful about shampoo (I’ve been using puppy shampoo and that seems okay) but, apart from that, he’s totally healthy. He could live with another calm dog(s); my bouncy pups are a bit much but he tolerates them really well despite it.”
