Lola is an 8 year old Shar Pei girl who’s in the care of Wonky Pets Rescue. She’s being fostered in south Birmingham. She’s not used to small children so can be considered for a new home with children aged 12 and over.
Lola was handed in along with her daughter Flossy as their owner could no longer care for them. Lola was rather grumpy on arrival and took some time to settle in and trust us but sadly when she was spayed they discovered the reason why. She must have been in lots of pain as she had huge cysts on her ovaries.
Now Lola is recovered from her spay, she feels so much happier and has proved herself to be a really nice girl. She is a typical Shar Pei in that she can be wary of new people and needs introducing properly but once she knows and trusts you she will be your best friend.
Lola is great with other dogs and has always lived with one. She’ll need another calm, neutered dog in her new home for sensible conversations about doggish matters. She’ll also need an experienced owner who can give her time and space to settle in. She’s OK to be left for a few hours as long as she has another dog for company.
Lola is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
