8 year old Ocky is looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s circumstances. He is being rehomed via Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool, and is available for adoption, but the for time being he is still at home with his owner. Ocky has been in the same home since he was a puppy and Freshfields are hoping to find him a lovely new home.
His current owner describes Ocky as not having a bad bone in his body. Ocky has that wonderful, typically staffy exuberant nature and love of life. He is full of fun, very active, and acts more like a 2 year old than an 8 year old. He is super friendly and loves everyone he meets. He is used to (and good with) visiting children of all ages but, as he is so giddy, any children living in his new home would need to be older, sensible ones as he could easily knock little ones over.
Ocky is good with other dogs and has previously lived with two female dogs. He has never lived with cats, and when he has come into contact with a cat he has been excitable and wanting to play. Although Ocky does not seem to want to cause any harm, Freshfields feel he would probably be a bit too much for a feline friend so would be best in a home without cats.
Ocky is used to having someone around for most of the day but is also happy to be left alone for a few hours. He needs active owners who will give him plenty of attention and exercise.
Ocky is a whirlwind of love and happiness. He will make an absolutely smashing, enthusiatic friend. He is in great health too and is neutered.
Remember that Ocky isn’t on site at Freshfields, so if you are interested in him you will need to make an appointment to meet him.
