Rebecca (All Animals Rescue and Rehome, fostered Essex)

Rebecca is a gorgeous staffy cross and she’s about 8 years old. Sadly she ended up in the pound and was due to be put to sleep, but luckily All Animals Rescue and Rehome stepped in to save her. Rebecca is now in the care of one of their foster homes in Essex.

Rebecca isn’t a giddy or bouncy dog, she’s very happy to just plod around or cuddle up in bed for a long snooze. She’s undemanding, house trained and can be left for short periods without any problems. She can be vocal when someone’s at the door, so you won’t need a doorbell!

Shortly after arrival, Rebecca had a cruciate ligament operation and needed a lot of rest during recovery. She then went on to find a new home, but unfortunately was still a little frustrated from the strict rest regime and she was quite bouncy. Sadly she was returned to rescue because of this, so she needs another chance.

Rebecca walks very well on her lead, once the initial excitement of getting out the house is over! She won’t need a lot of exercise and would be happy with a large garden to potter about in.

Rebecca is fine around other dogs and she’s currently sharing her foster home with 10 others of all shapes and sizes. She loves them all and plays mother hen to some of the youngsters!

Rebecca is also great with children, but because nothing is known of her past she will be more suited to an adult-only home, or one with older teenage children. Rebecca needs a cat-free home please.

Since being returned to rescue, poor Rebecca keeps being overlooked, yet she’s one of the easiest dogs you could wish for. Her foster mum says “Rebecca is a very undemanding little girl and she’ll make a fantastic addition to any home. She’s the sweetest, most adorable little snuggle bug you will ever meet. All she wants is to curl up with you for cuddles, and if I had room she would be staying here forever”

Rebecca will make a perfect companion for someone, she just needs a chance and a little bit of time to settle at her own pace. She’s in good health and is flea and worm treated, spayed and vaccinated.
