Spot (Wythall Animal Rescue, West Midlands)

Cutie Spot is a gorgeous 3-legged 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Cross boy who is at Wythall Animal Rescue in the West Midlands. Wythall normally rehome within 15 miles of the rescue, but for older and harder to rehome dogs they can rehome further afield at the manager’s discretion. Wythall would also consider a foster home for him. In their foster scheme, the dog is rehomed as usual, but the rescue oversees and finances all veterinary costs.

Spot finds himself in rescue due to his previous owners moving and being unable to care for Spot in their new residence. He is a friendly boy once he knows and trusts you but can be a bit wary of strangers. If you are interested in offering Spot his new home, you will need to go to meet him a few times before taking him home so that he can gradually get to know you.

Little Spot enjoys head rubs and will nuzzle for affection, but fuss does need to be on Spot’s terms. Although he only has 3 legs he has no trouble getting out and about. He loves to go out for short walks and pottering around the paddock at the sanctuary.

Spot has met a couple of laid-back, friendly dogs at the sanctuary. He isn’t keen on not-so-friendly dogs though so would prefer to be the only pet in his new home. Because he can be wary, Spot needs an adult-only home.

Spot is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and up to date with flea and worming treatments. He has no current medical needs.
