Aimee (Saving Romanian Strays, fostered Scotland)

Aimee is a very special older lady who has been hoping and waiting patiently to come to the U.K. for nearly 2 years. She’s finally made it with the help of Saving Romanian Strays and is now in foster care near Glasgow.

Aimee is 12 years old and had a history of poor health due to the hard life she had led. Just before she should have travelled the other year, she had a series of strokes that left her very poorly. She is now fully recovered and on a regimen of supplements that should keep her free of any future episodes.

Aimee is an absolute sweetheart and just like a puppy as she runs about the garden smiling her head off. She is still a very active lady and would love a home where she would get several, shorter, daily walks. She is clean in the house, great around other dogs and even loves the cats.

Aimee was quite overweight when she arrived and so tired quite easily. There has been a lot of hard work to get the weight off her and, now that she is out and about most of the day, she is looking fabulous.
