Beautiful Boi! (Oldies Club, fostered Somerset)

23/2/20 – Boi still needs a home

Please help Boi by sharing this page!

Boi is a 12 year old Lurcher who has come back into the Oldies Club rescue after 2 years of being homed because he had words with the resident cat. He’s now in a cat free Oldies Club foster home in Radstock, Somerset waiting for a permanent home… where no one even mentions cats!

A happy boy in foster: Boi relaxed into his new surroundings within a couple of days, finding the sofa fitted him perfectly!

Can be left for a few hours: Boi has been left for 3-4 hours and seemed fine. It’s thought he could live with a part time worker but he does love to have company.

Good with dogs: Boi is good with other dogs he meets on walks, having a game of chase if they’re up for it, but he does like having his own space at home. He’d be happiest as an only dog.

C-A-Ts: Don’t. Just… just don’t.

Good with children: Boi is excellent with children! He’s sweet and gentle and could live with dog savvy ones from age 5. Visiting grandchildren would be nice for him.

Loves his walks: Boi currently has two walks a day of about one and a half hours each, which he really enjoys. He’s well behaved off lead and on. He must be a real pleasure to take out with all the admiring glances he gets. He loves meeting friendly people and will happily kiss anyone who’ll let him!

Good in the car: He enjoys having an adventure in comfort!

Boi’s favourite pastimes: Walkies, playing chase and luxuriating on the sofa.

Boi’s ideal home: He would love to have someone to be with most of the time. A garden, regular walks, some soppy time with you and lots of lounging and snoozing time.

Health notes: Boi is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has been flea/worm treated. He has a bit of arthritis in his hips and one front wrist, for which he will need long term medication.

Boi’s foster carer said:Boi is a sweet lad who is very loving, likes a lot of fuss and is faithful. He just wants to be loved. He’s friendly, affectionate and calm.
