Bowie – female (Mayhew Animal Home, NW London)

19/10/19 – Bowie still needs a home!

Beautiful Bowie is an 11 year old, female, white and tan Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross. She finds herself in rescue due to her owner’s ill health and the Mayhew Animal Home in North West London are taking good care of her until her new, caring owner takes her home.

Bowie is an intelligent, chatty and sensitive girl who still has plenty of energy. She loves nothing more than going for long walks, playing a good game of fetch and then coming home and cuddling up on the sofa.

Bowie can sometimes be grumpy around other dogs so she would prefer a pet-free home in a rural, semi-rural or low dog populated area so that she can enjoy her walks without coming into constant contact with lots of other dogs. Bowie knows her basic commands and is friendly with strangers, though she can be boisterous.

Bowie can live with sensible teenagers of sixteen years of age and older providing they are used to being around dogs. She doesn’t cope well with being left alone and so is looking for a home where there is someone around during the day. Due to her vocal nature, she wouldn’t be suitable to live in a flat.

Bowie has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and is up-to-date with flea/worm treatment. She has also been health checked and behaviourally assessed.
