Cheeko (RSPCA Macclesfield, fostered Macclesfield)

Such a sweet, older lady, Cheeko is a 15 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for a quiet retirement home with the help of RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire & Buxton Branch. She is currently enjoying the comforts of a foster home in Macclesfield.

Cheeko had previously been neglected and shut away in a room. She was in a terrible state: half her fur was missing and she was covered in infected sores. She was also very underweight and weak on her legs. Her bedding was black with grease accumulated over the years, painting a very sad and tragic picture of her life.

After a few weeks of tender loving care and veterinary care, Cheeko is now ready to find a retirement home. She loves nothing more than to snooze, eat and potter around on short walks. She is always pleased to see people and will happily be fussed and have cuddles all day.

Cheeko is looking for an adult only, quiet retirement home where she can live a comfortable and happy life. She could be rehomed with another elderly dog and with cats.

Cheeko does have a skin condition that will require long-term treatment and a couple of ailments to be discussed.
