Clive (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

Please help Clive by sharing his page!

Dear old Clive is a medium sized Crossbreed boy of about 8-9 years. He’s in a foster home in Gorleston-on-Sea in Norfolk through Safe Rescue. He’s good with other dogs and would be happy to live with one or two.

Clive was one of 250 dogs who were rescued from a shelter in Romania which was closing down. One rescuer stepped in to save all these dogs and Safe Rescue took on as many as they could. Clive is one of a handful of these still waiting for his forever home.

Before that dramatic episode, Clive had been in the harsh public shelter in Romania for so long, no one could remember how he even got there. The years of struggle have taken their toll but since being in foster, he’s gradually been coming out of his shell.

Clive is well behaved and clean in the home. On walks, he’s good off lead and on, meeting other dogs nicely. He’s still wary of new humans and will need time to trust his new family. He now enjoys cuddles on the sofa with his foster family so he’s certainly capable of love.

Clive has been overlooked for far too long. Maybe it’s because he’s shy with new people. Maybe because he’s sort of plain looking. Perhaps it’s just fate and the perfect person is now ready to take him home.

If you can offer Clive the lovely retirement home he so much deserves, please contact Safe Rescue (quoting Ref. FR055) as follows:
