23/2/20 – Corny still needs a home
So sadly, Corny came into the care of Safe Rescue with the unenviable title of “longest stay dog in the shelter” and that’s a long 5 years which have been wasted. His future is a very different story now that he is happily in a foster home near Norwich, Norfolk.
Corny is a 7 year old, medium-sized Crossbreed. Naturally his life experiences have left him cautious around people, but he is still curious enough to want to be around them. He is now enjoying walks and is excited about the world around him.
Corny enjoys the company of other dogs and would like another dog to live with in his new home. He needs a bit of patience and understanding, but time and kindness will result in him being a more confident and affectionate friend and companion.
Sometimes when all a dog has seen is the dark side of humans, it can just take a little while to prove there is a good and kind side, but Corny is beginning to see this and dare to believe it’s true. Now all he deserves is a loving place to call home.
Corny is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
