Micky (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)

22/2/20 – Micky still needs a home

Sadly, Micky was just another dog caught by the dog catchers and taken to a high kill shelter along with several other dogs in Romania. Fortunately, some very kind people who had been watching over the dogs in the area jumped straight in their car and got them all out and put them in a private shelter until coming to the U.K.

Micky is a smaller/medium-sized Crossbreed who is now safely in the care of Safe Rescue and is being fostered in Norwich. He is 10 years old according to his passport but he could be younger.

Despite being timid initially, Micky soon settled in his foster home. He is friendly with the other dogs and loves a stroke from humans. He has also been lovely with the children he has met.

Micky has clearly had some injuries to his ears as one is ripped and the other is shorter. He also has some scars on his face, but it doesn’t make him any less handsome.

Micky would fit into family life easily but would prefer not to be in a too noisy home. He would love to live with other dogs, but he could also be an only dog if he has someone at home with him and is well socialised with canine friends regularly.

All Safe Rescue dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and neutered unless the vet advises against.
