Neo (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

23/2/20 – Neo still needs a home

Neo is a gorgeous 10 year old Staffy cross in the care of Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool. He’s looking for a quiet retirement as an only pet in an adult only home where someone will be with him a lot of the time and where he’ll get plenty of fuss!

Neo will be a devoted companion and will enjoy taking you out for walks. He has the unusual habit of picking up and carrying stones, rather than sticks. Occasionally he finds a plastic bottle and does his bit for the environment by picking these up too. Such a good boy!

Neo absolutely loves his toys! He can get beside himself with glee about a really good toy.

He’s a fun-loving and friendly boy with a naturally sunny disposition. He finds kennel life very stressful but is a different dog once he’s away from that environment. The fact that he’s stayed chipper is down to the efforts of a dedicated team of regular volunteers who take him out exploring and make a fuss of him. However, they still have to return him to his kennel eventually.

Neo really deserves a relaxing home and his own people to love! Before coming to the centre, he’d spent 6 months in police kennels after going through a terribly traumatic event. Needless to say, he is not defined by what happened to him and is a trusting, loving dog. He has a bit of arthritis for which he’s on supplements. He’s still a fit boy, full of enthusiasm but he does like lounging in the sunshine as well.

If you can offer this lovely boy the happy home he deserves, please contact Freshfields Animal Rescue as follows:
