Rufus (NAWT, Berkshire)

Rufus is an adorable 16-year-old Terrier Cross who is at NAWT, Berkshire as his previous owners were unable to look after him anymore.

Despite being a proper oldie, Rufus is a very active boy who loves a good walk or to play with his squeaky toys – he has quite a collection!

The staff at NAWT have been helping Rufus learn the correct way to play. He has also been doing some desensitisation work around other animals as he is not very keen on them, but he is happy to wear his muzzle on walks. Potential owners will need to accept that Rufus will need to wear his muzzle in public at all times. He would prefer to be walked in quieter areas.

Rufus needs an owner who is patient, and experienced with terriers, and who will continue the training he has had at NAWT. He can be a very sweet and cuddly boy. Rufus needs a adult-only, pet-free home so that he can have all the attention to himself.

This little character is very popular with the staff at NAWT and he even has his own Facebook page!

Could you offer Rufus the home he has been waiting for?
