Sasha (Safe Rescue, fostered Norfolk)
Sasha is a gorgeous German Shepherd cross believed to be about 10 years old. She’s in a multi-dog foster home in Norfolk, through Safe Rescue. As you can see, she’s happy living with other dogs.
Sasha has had a difficult life and had never trusted a human or allowed one to touch her before coming to Safe Rescue. It’s been a long road and taken over a year but she’s now ready to find an understanding owner of her own.
Sasha is a happy and playful dog but she still struggles to understand the concept of being stroked by humans. It isn’t so much that she fears it now, but she just doesn’t understand why it’s necessary.
It is hoped that in a more one to one environment in closer contact with humans she may one day learn to enjoy human affection but she may need to find someone who just enjoys her company and making her happy and isn’t concerned that soppiness isn’t her thing!
Sasha gets on really well with other dogs and would need at least one other dog in her new home. She adores her walks and behaves well on and off lead.
If you would like this bright, sensible girl to come and live with you, please contact Safe Rescue (quoting her ref. 0027717 and her location ref. FR007) as follows:
