Tia is a beautiful, 13 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who came into the care of the National Animal Welfare Trust near Langport in Somerset through no fault of her own, but simply because her previous owners’ living situation changed and they could no longer have her.
As a typical loving Staffie, Tia is a very people-orientated dog, just loving a good fuss and she will always return the affection! As she loves exploring, her ideal home would have a large, secure garden to roam around in. She would benefit from someone who is around for most of the day as she is not used to being left on her own and just loves being around people. She will make a wonderfully affectionate companion.
Even though Tia is an older girl, she does still love to explore and is very happy greeting lots of people when out and about. She is a good traveller in the car as long as the journey isn’t too long! Tia could live with sensible, older children who understand the needs of an older dog. She is generally relaxed around other dogs out on walks, but does prefer her own space. For this reason, Tia needs a home where she is the only pet in the household.
Tia has had two lumps removed but is fully recovered and she has been spayed. She has had a dental also and is not currently taking any medication.
