Xena (National Animal Welfare Trust, Cornwall)

Xena is a 7-year-old Collie Cross girl who is at National Animal Welfare Trust in Hayle, Cornwall. She needs to be rehomed within Cornwall due to numerous visits being required as part of NAWT’s standard rehoming process.

Pretty Xena is a very quick learner who enjoys showing off her high IQ. She needs a home with people who have experience with collies or rescue dogs generally. She is an incredibly intelligent girl and needs a lot of mental stimulation to keep her happy. She loves to hunt for treats with her nose, and absolutely LOVES tennis balls – they are her favourite thing in the world.

You will need to allow Xena to do things in her own time. She needs an adult-only home with someone who has lots of time and patience to help build her confidence and help her relax and bond. She could possibly live with cats and male dogs. A rural home – either a farm or smallholding – would be ideal for Xena. She would be so happy!

The only other requirement for Xena is a plentiful supply of tennis balls!

Could you offer this highly intelligent lady a wonderful home in the countryside?
