2/8/20 – Dillon still needs a home
Darling Dillon, with his adorable grey chin, is an energetic 8-year-old Lurcher who finds himself at NAWT in Hayle, Cornwall as sadly his owner has passed away. Dillon needs to be rehomed within Cornwall, or perhaps Devon, due to the number of visits required as part of NAWT’s standard rehoming process.
Big-lad Dillon is a sweet and sensitive soul who will be the most amazing companion for his new owner. He is a vibrant and playful boy who is also extremely loving and loyal, in typical lurcher fashion.
Poor Dillon hasn’t been socialised with other dogs previously, so he is currently working on his social skills. He does now go for walks with some female dogs, but it’s very important that he wears his muzzle when out in public. Lovely Dillon will benefit from having confident owners with the experience to continue his socialisation, using positive, reward-based training, so that he can feel more relaxed when out on walks.
Handsome Dillon’s ideal home will be in a rural location where he can enjoy lots of quiet time. He needs a nice secure garden with plenty of room for him to stretch his legs and run about and play with his toys, as he’ll need to be kept on lead when out in public.
This loving boy will bond quickly with his new owners and will be a very affectionate companion. Could you offer Dillon his ideal new home in the Cornwall area?
