11/6/20 – Fluke still needs a home
Fluke is a very handsome 7-year-old Husky boy who is at National Animal Welfare Trust in Hayle, Cornwall, waiting for husky-experienced people to offer him a new home. Fluke needs to be rehomed within Cornwall due to the number of visits being required as part of NAWT’s standard rehoming process.
Fluke needs his new people to understand the quirks and requirements of huskies. He is without question very beautiful, but Fluke is quite a complex boy who needs people with plenty of time and patience. His new owners will need visit him at the centre lots of times to establish a strong relationship with him as he is uncomfortable about being handled unless he has a good bond with you first.
Gorgeous Fluke will need to be your only pet, in an adult-only home. He isn’t used to being left on his own, so you will need to be around most of the time.
Fluke’s favourite thing in life is walkies, and he’ll walk for miles, so his new owners must have an active lifestyle. He isn’t overly fond of other dogs, and although he has been working on his social skills, it is important that Fluke is muzzled when out and about, and that he has walks in quieter areas. He’ll need a large, secure garden where he can run about and play, as on walks he will need to be kept on a lead or longline at all times.
If you are local to Cornwall, are active, and have lots of experience of huskies and could offer Fluke his ideal home, maybe it is you that he’s waiting to meet.
