Joey-1 (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

Joey-1 is a lovely 12-year-old Terrier boy who is with Cheltenham Animal Shelter in Gloucestershire. The rescue doesn’t restrict its rehomings to the local area, but does require a minimum of three visits to the dog in question.

Joey needs a nice retirement home in a quiet area. He loves his home comforts and will happily snooze the afternoon away in his bed after a walk and a potter around in the garden. He needs an adult home with minimal visitors and he needs to be the only pet in the house. Joey just wants a quiet, chilled life, bless him.

He is known for being fine when left. He is a well behaved boy who knows sit, down and roll over, and he travels well in the car. Joey is fine out on walks and he walks nicely on the lead and regularly checks in with the person walking him.

Joey can be okay with dogs but he much prefers having his own space and makes very little attempt to interact with other dogs. Healthwise, he is on an anti-inflammatory (Loxicom) long term.

Could you offer sweet old Joey a quiet home?
