Kolo and Tinkerbell (Cheltenham Animal Shelter, Gloucestershire)

If you are thinking about adopting a pair of oldies, you may want to read our article Are Two Oldies better than One?

Kolo is a 16 year old, male Jack Russell Terrier Cross and his best buddy, Tinkerbell, is a 9 year old, female Terrier Cross. They are in the care of Cheltenham Animal Shelter and are looking for a quiet home together where any children are aged 13+ years.

Kolo is short-coated and tri-coloured and Tinkerbell has a long-haired, black coat with white markings. They are the best of friends and really need to be rehomed together, but they would prefer not to share their home with any other animals. They love human company and so would like someone to be around for the majority of the day.

Kolo and Tinkerbell are both neutered. Kolo had severe dental issues when entering the kennels and so a majority of his teeth have been taken out. He can be a little stiff due to age. Tinkerbell has had 2 dermal masses removed as well as a dental since coming to the Shelter. Both are on Loxicom short-term, but this may need to be long-term.

If you are looking for a pair of lap dogs to cuddle up with on the sofa, then these are the pooches for you.
