Markos (Animal Adoption International, fostered Yorkshire)

14/10/20 Handsome Markos has moved into a foster home near Leeds, Yorkshire.

Markos is a rather stately Pointer Cross who has spent many years of his life in a Greek shelter. He’s been in a foster home in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, provided by Animal Adoption International but will have to move to kennels due to a change in his foster carer’s circumstances. He urgently needs a forever home.

Markos is 9 years old and white/brown in colour. He’s looking for his forever home to enjoy the life he deserves. He adores people and cuddles and is a seriously lovely boy, perfect for a pet-free family.

Markos doesn’t like male dogs and can only be with some female dogs, so he’s better rehomed with no dogs at all. He has a high prey drive as per his breed so no cats or small furries please. He would be better suited to people who are around a lot (working from home all the time and not just for Covid-19) or retired but still active.

Markos walks well on a lead and is clean in the house. He will still need a fair bit of exercise and loves his walks. As he loves to be outside, he would like a largish, secure garden. He is neutered and has no known medical needs.
