BuskyBear is a gorgeous 10 year old Crossbreed boy in the care of Rescue Remedies at their boarding kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex. His former owner moved house and couldn’t take him with them. He had a lovely time during lockdown as he was in a foster home…
…but now he’s back to waiting in kennels again, making the most of his time with volunteer walkers!
He has lived with older children and other dogs, but can react to unknown dogs when out on walks. He’d better not live with cats or small furries. His recent fosterer said, “BuskyBear has been with me in foster for nearly 8 weeks and he’s been the perfect houseguest.
“Don’t be fooled by his age, he’s got the energy of a younger dog and a playful side too (playing catch/fetch with a tennis ball is his favourite).
“He loves his walks and is quick to get his nose to the ground. He can be reactive if startled or someone gets too close without a proper welcome but he’s very easy to move along. As the weather has been warming up he’s also enjoying patrolling the garden.
“He would prefer to have someone to cuddle and play with all day but can be left for a while with no messes/destruction to come home to. He’s a quick learner and is eager to please.”
