Don (via Freshfields Animal Rescue, at home in Liverpool)

Don, a 9-year-old American Bulldog, is looking for a new home due to a change in his owner’s work hours. Don is still with his family while he waits for a new home. Freshfields Animal Rescue are rehoming Don.

This handsome boy is a lovable, gentle giant who is very friendly. He is a big boy so would benefit from having an owner who is used to large breeds. Don would be ideal for a retired person, or someone who is around for most of the day, as he loves company and attention.

Don is okay with female dogs on walks but can be reactive towards bigger males. He would be best suited to being the only dog in his new home. He does have potential to live with cats though. Freshfields think that Don could live with sensible children over the age of 12. He is used to younger children visiting but he’s a big boy and could knock little ones over!

Being an older boy, Don has some lameness in his back legs which Freshfields will be exploring further with their vet.

If you like big, goofy dogs then Don will be sure to steal your heart! Could you offer him a new home?

Remember that Don is not currently at the rescue and is still with his family whilst awaiting a new home.
