Max (Freshfields Animal Rescue, Liverpool)

Max is a gorgeous and loveable 8-year-old Staffy cross Rottweiler boy who is with Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool.

Handsome Max was originally rehomed by Freshfields as a puppy but he has sadly found himself back their care due to his owner’s ill health.

Lovely Max is a truly beautiful and loyal dog. He likes to takes his time to trust new people, but as soon as he does his friendly, playful nature starts to emerge. A quiet, adult-only home is what Max is used to; he needs a home with no children resident, visiting or planned for the future.

Max is looking for a home where he will be your only pet. He takes time to get to know other dogs and doesn’t always accept them. He cannot live with cats.

Max is clean and well-behaved in the home and will be OK to be left alone for a couple of hours once he has settled in.

He was quite overweight when he arrived in rescue and x-rays have shown that he does have some arthritis, but it has improved with exercise and supplements. Max is otherwise in great health.

Could you offer gorgeous Max the lovely home he deserves?
