Wendy (Stray2Me, fostered Surrey)

Wendy is a real character and very loveable Crossbreed lady who is originally from Romania but is now enjoying life in a foster home in Weybridge, Surrey, provided by Stray2Me.

Wendy is neutered and is 7 or 8 years old (born 2013). She’s approximately 25kg and roughly Labrador size. She is such a friendly and loving girl who absolutely adores all human attention.

Wendy is a bit of a diva and likes it when all of the attention on her, so she may be better suited to a home where she is the only pet, but with lots of opportunities to meet and play with other dogs too. Wendy is good at walking on the lead, she likes to sniff everything and doesn’t pull much. She is happy to see other dogs and people.

Wendy has lots of energy and enjoys a good game of chase in the garden with the resident dog. On a walk, she loves sniffing out her new environment. She is intelligent and inquisitive. Due to her love of people and some separation anxiety, a home with lots of people around may be best for her, perhaps with older children/teenagers.

Wendy is a confident dog and is ready to start her next chapter. She does need to learn manners around food, and sometimes she forgets her toilet training, but she’s only been in her foster home for a short time.

Wendy possibly had distemper when she was younger as she has a tremor. Her jaw twitches, and when she relaxes, the front of her body twitches. She will be very used to this and most likely unaware of it. It’s actually quite endearing. Her adopter will need to be patient with her, but they will be rewarded by so much love and loyalty from Wendy.
