Cuddly Kira is a 10 year old, white and grey Mioritic Shepherd lady who is being cared for in a foster home in Coventry provided by Forgotten Souls Rescue. She’s looking for a quiet home but is still sprightly and likes to play.
Sadly, Kira was originally a stray and found run over by a tractor in a field, so she’s had a rough start in life. However, she likes walks despite this old leg injury and can manage 30 minutes. She can be left in the house and just sleeps; she’s non-destructive and enjoys having some alone time. Kira prefers no visiting young children; she’s an older lady and, although she loves a head tickle and ear scratch, she can be grumpy if pushed and shoved.
Kira loves treats and will jump up for them while her tail and bottom wiggle and wag all the time. She has lived with other dogs and cats but life with an older, calmer dog would be best. She can also live without other dogs. Kira eats soft food as her jaw was broken when she was run over. She loves her food and especially liver treats.
Kira is not the best getting in the car but, once she’s in, she’s fine. She will run for the ball but does not know how to bring it back! She walks well on the lead; initially, she’s excited but, after a few seconds, she is fine and just likes to crack on with her walks and sniff everything.
Kira has an infection which is being treated at the vets, but they say her organs are fine and she’s got great life in her. She has also been spayed.
