Mandy (Rescue Remedies, kennelled Surrey)

Cutie-girl Mandy is an 11-year-old Bulldog X Staffy who is adored by all the volunteer walkers at Rescue Remedies kennels near Gatwick, on the Surrey/ West Sussex border. She’s famed for her cuddles and kisses!

One walker said, ““Mandy is an amazing lady who doesn’t like to walk too far now. She’s just happy pottering about in the woods and down the lane. It’s been so nice out recently, it’s not so muddy and all the daffodils about. Our Mandy loves to have a sniff.”

Another said, “Despite her advancing years Mandy has a great zest for life. Whilst she still doesn’t like other dogs getting too close to her and she will vocally give them what for, she is easy to refocus and quick to move on. Mandy adores people and cuddles and doesn’t need big long walks and would make the perfect addition to many different households.”

Mandy is house trained and impeccably well behaved. She can be left for a few hours and will just rest. She’s super affectionate and it’s easy to get her attention when you have a treat!

At her age, she really deserves to be living in a comfy home of her own with a human companion or two to dote on and take out for extremely leisurely walks.

Yet another volunteer walker said, “Lady Mandy remains so sweet and so chilled despite not having found a home. I do enjoy taking her out but so hope this is the year she finds her happy ever after. Gorgeous girl! We had a chilled-out stroll around the woods today with lots of treats and fuss.”

Mandy had a stroke a few months ago but has made a full recovery and is ready, if not overdue, to find her forever home. One with nice places nearby for a gentle stroll, with not many other dogs and lots of good smells…

…and plenty of treats in pockets to be good for!
