Penny came to Aldridge Voluntary Animal Rescue after her owners no longer wanted her because they were moving house.
After a short stint on the Oldies Club site, this lovely old Whippet x girl found a wonderful home with new mum Sarah and family, and new friend Gizmo. Unfortunately, Gizmo has recently passed away, but Penny is proving to be a comfort to her family at this sad time.
This is what Sarah has to say:
Penny is my recently aquired “oldie” (but don’t you tell her that!) She is
11 years young and has been an angel. She has only been here a couple of
weeks but has been really good from day one. She is obedient, loving,
patient with all the family.
I love oldies and if anyone is considering it I’d say PLEASE DO! I haven’t regretted it for a
second.
