Woody ~ aka Billy Wizz

Listed under:

A small, older crossbreed was brought in to District Dogs Rescue, Warrington following a road traffic accident in May 2005. He had his eye removed and was nicknamed Billy Wizz.

After a bit of R&R and another op for his castration, this friendly little chap was ready for a new home, and he certainly fell on his feet when he went home with new mum Barb! Here is what she has to say about this charming little dog, now known as Woody:

Woody was very poorly when he arrived, and was very listless and not interested in anything. He has been on medication, and seems a little happier, but he certainly doesn’t “wizz” around!

As you can see from his photo, Woody is a handsome boy who now sports a lovely shiny coat – and has his very own spot on the sofa. ;-) He doesn’t join his new housemates Joe and Marnie on longer walks, but he has a lovely waggy tail ready for everyone when they come back!

Everyone at the Oldies Club wishes Woody and his new family a long and happy future. :-)
