17/4/2006 Midnight has found a new home!

Midnight is a beautiful black cat. It was originally thought that she was completely blind, however further tests prove that she can see – not perfectly, but her eyesight is improving. She is looking for a quiet retirement home.

Midnight is a little female cat, of approx 12 years of age. She is all black and short haired with beautiful yellow eyes, and is a very special little girl as it was initially thought that she was blind. However, it has now been found that she CAN see! Not perfectly, but her eyesight has definitely improved dramatically in the past fortnight.
She has had full bloodwork done to rule out medical issues and has been given a fully clean bill of health. Her only issue is her eyesight, though this does not seem to hinder her in any way. She is spayed.
Midnight is looking for a calm, quiet, strictly indoor, retirement home. Although she may settle with other old cats, we are looking for a home without dogs or children. Her new owners need to take into account her sight problems and ensure dangers to a sight-impaired cat are minimised.
She is litter trained and eats well, but will take a few days to get her bearings and settle into her new home. She will never be able to have free outdoor access, and the household needs to stay much the same.
Midnight will make a wonderful addition to a quiet home with lots of TLC and a warm fireplace to curl up in front of.
Midnight is currently at Westways Vets in Newcastle, but can be rehomed elsewhere providing homecheck/transport can be arranged.
