16/07/09 – We have just heard the sad news that Sheena has passed away.  At least she had a loving home for her remaining time.

29/2/08 – We have now heard that Sheena’s foster arrangement is a permanent one! A wonderful, happy ending for this lovely old girl. She finally has a loving home of her own and we wish her all the best!

25/2/08 – Sheena is now in a foster home near Bourne, Lincolnshire. Although she has improved recently and is much happier and healthier, she is still looking for a permanent home.

Sheena is a 12 year old German Shepherd girl who is at Three Counties Dog Rescue in Lincolnshire.

She is the most wonderful, well-behaved dog who arrived at Three Counties in a terribly neglected and starved condition, along with her beloved friend, Cassie. Cassie has, very upsettingly, had to be put to sleep.

Sheena is left all alone. This gorgeous old lady is crying out to be loved and really needs to be in a warm, loving home urgently.

Please can you offer this sweet girl the love and pampering she so deserves to make up for the life she has endured. She is a very good-natured girl who gets on well with everyone. She needs a gentle home where she will be the only dog and where any children are older.

This beautiful lady will return your love and kindness a million times over and reward you with complete devotion.

If you could help this desperate old lady who has lost her only friend in the world, please contact Three Counties Dog Rescue as follows:

Telephone: 01778 440318
Mobile: 07708 589792

Please mention that you read about Sheena on the Oldies Club website.

Rescue’s Rehoming Policy:
Three Counties Dog Rescue prefer to rehome dogs within their region so that they can keep in touch with them (the Three Counties are deemed as Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, however, they also take on and rehome dogs in Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire on a regular basis).
