17/4/2007 Poor Jack the Dobermann passed away suddenly last night at his foster home. Rest in peace, Jack.

———–

Jack is a 9 year old Dobermann who came into the care of the Oldies Club as he was not getting the attention he required with a new baby in the house.

He is in an Oldies Club foster home in Milton Keynes and his foster carer tells us:

“Jack is a very gentle and affectionate boy. He walks well on and off lead and he is obedient. He’s good with other dogs and is enjoying the company of our two dogs. If he is to be the only dog in his new home we feel he would be happier with someone who is at home most of the day.

Jack is very well-behaved and learns quickly. We were told that he doesn’t like cats but as yet he has not been tested with them. He is clean in the house.”

When he came into the OC’s care, Jack was overweight, had some fatty lumps, a limp and an eye infection. All of these have been dealt with and we are awaiting the results of his blood test. He will need a dental in the future.

Jack has been vet-checked and he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, worm- and flea-treated.
