14/11/2009 A sad update from Raymonds family. “In November 2007 we adopted Raymond, a Yorkshire Terrier seen on the Oldies website from Ardley Rescue Kennels near Bicester. He was an absolute gem. Sadly he passed away on 25th September 2009 having suffered from a brain tumour. For such a little chap he has left a big hole in our lives. He was a joy to be with and is greatly missed and we are heart broken.”

Sleep tight little fellow.

———

This little fellow is Raymond and he’s a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier, currently being cared for by Ardley Rescue Kennels in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Poor Raymond was in an awful state when he arrived at Ardley, so he’s had to be completely clipped. He’s also had a full dental and had to have 11 teeth removed, but his kisses will be much sweeter now!

Raymond would be happy living with children, cats and other dogs, but he needs a calm, peaceful retirement home as he has a Grade 4 heart murmur.

Raymond is neutered and on medication for his heart murmur. Ardley Rescue will continue to pay for this medication.

If you would like to offer Raymond his retirement home, please contact Ardley Rescue Kennels as follows:

Please mention that you saw Raymond on the Oldies Club website.

A homecheck will be required. If you are interested but live outside the rescue’s area, the Oldies Club may be able to help find a volunteer to carry out the homecheck.
