Barbara, our lovely friend at the Ark in Lincolnshire has forwarded this message she has received from the new owners of Cilla – now called Emma:
“Here are some pictures of Cilla (now Emma) – she is doing brilliantly – very much more settled today – still follows me everywhere – sat at the gate this morning went I went to work my husband said – bless her heart.
She has been sunbathing with both George and Lucy today – they are getting on very well – George still keeps getting whacked in the face with her rotor blade tail – he looks very resigned to it!!
Bought her a nice new fluffy bed today – she loves it – perfect for old aching bones. She is very active and her nose is in to everything – she got the cling film box out of the kitchen drawer for me yesterday when I was cooking – what a helpful girl! She held it up for me and was so proud. She also goes in to the hedge after a nice smell and then gets stuck!!
Taking her for frequent little strolls up the road which she enjoys – she stops when she wants to go back – its such a shame about her legs because it seems she wants to go on walking but can’t manage it.
Taking her to the vets on Friday for a check up and to register her. All the family coming for the weekend so she will enjoy all the fuss!!”
