Florence the lovely lurcher was adopted in Jan 08 by a lady from Leicestershire. Florence hadn’t had an easy life, so we are pleased to hear that she’s doing very well in her new home.
This is what her new owner has to say;
Florence is getting on very well. She is very affectionate and has started to play and become much more lively. She doesn’t get upset now if we need to go out.
Our vet reckons she is only 2 or 3 years old, not 7! (So she pretended to be an oldie, just to get on our website!)
She has tried the Kennel Club Bronze Award course. She failed on the sit-stay, but passed all the rest and has learned a lot.
She now has a companion, Popeye, who really is 7! He came directly from his previous home because his owner had gone into a Care Home.
We think Florence has done very well for herself and wish her all the best for the future!
