9/9/08 Poor Hogan has very sadly had to be put to sleep due to ill health.

Hogan is an adorable Rottweiler X who is thought to be at least 8 years old. Hogan is in the care of RSPCA Bradford & District. (Note that the rescue’s website is currently out of date).

Hogan is similar in size to a Labrador. This poor old lad was abandoned – left tied to the RSPCA centre’s fence during a cold night in March of this year.

He is a friendly, placid and quiet boy and is still quite active. He prefers interacting with humans rather than playing with toys. Hogan is clean in his kennel which suggests he is housetrained.

Although he seems to get on with other quiet dogs, the RSPCA think that Hogan would be happier as the only dog in his new household. He seemed OK when he was introduced to a cat. It is felt that Hogan will get the best out of life in a household that doesn’t include children.

If you are interested in adopting this boy who was abandoned at the time of his life when he most needs home comforts and security, please contact RSPCA Bradford and District as follows:

Telephone: 01274 723063
Email: info@rspca-bradford.org.uk (The RSPCA have had email problems so it’s better to phone!)

Please mention that you saw the lovely Hogan on the Oldies Club website.
