12/4/08 – Red Lion Canine Rescue have informed us that Jason has very sadly been put to sleep. He’d been unwell for a few days and after further investigations the vet discovered a large tumour in his mouth. Rest in Peace Jason!

Jason is a 9½ year old, un–neutered German Shepherd who is currently in the care of Red Lion Canine Rescue in Whitstable, near Canterbury. Jason’s owner moved into warden assisted accommodation and sadly couldn’t take him along, so Jason now needs a new home.

Jason will need an experienced, dog-free home without cats or children. He’s a very friendly boy, but can have his off days like everyone else, so isn’t always good with strangers.

Jason is good when travelling and he’s fine to be left for reasonable periods of time. He also enjoys spending time playing with his toys, so he’s looking forward to having a new home of his own where he can share playtime with his new owner.

Jason isn’t coping well in kennels, so Red Lion Canine Rescue are hoping someone will come along soon and offer him the chance he deserves. A quiet, loving home is all he asks for.

If you think you can offer Jason a new home, please contact Red Lion Canine Rescue as follows;
