Marvellous Max had lots of interest when he was looking for a new home. His sad story and cute good looks attracted much attention. However, for one reason or another, none of these enquiries quite worked out for Max and he waited a few months for the right home to come along. His new home was certainly worth the wait though. And he’s having a marvellous time!
His new owner writes:
Dear all at Oldies Club
Max has settled in a treat. We can assure you he is very happy. We took him to West Wales in July and he had the time of his life. He adores being in the sea and is a good swimmer. We are going away for another week in September to North Wales and of course both dogs are coming. We are so proud of him and he is much loved.
Max has brought great pleasure into our lives, we would not be without him. Thank you so much for letting us have him – after all he has been through he deserves the good life and we will do everything in our power to make sure he always gets it.

18/06/2009 We’ve just had the following message and enclosed pictures from Marvellous Max’s
owners:
Just a note to keep in touch and let you know our Max is very healthy and happy. He is so full of live Mike and I could not imagine life without him. He is well and truly settled in. Enclosed are a few photos taken in May of this year. I think they say it all.
