17/9/08 – Patch has found a new home!

Patch is a lovable 12-year-old cat who is looking for a new home where she can be an only pet. Her new owner should be as affectionate as she is!

Patch is a 12-year-old cat who came into the care of the RSPCA Macclesfield in October 2007. She was removed from a home where her and three other cats were not being properly fed and cared for.
Although a Macclesfield resident elected to adopt all three, it has been decided that Patch should be rehomed on her own, as her two mates, who are bigger and stronger than her, have been making Patch’s life a bit miserable!
Patch is currently staying in an RSPCA foster home in Congleton. Her fosterer has confirmed that Patch likes to be on her own, and that she is much more vibrant and has a healthier appetite. Patch is therefore looking for a new home with no other pets.
She is an affectionate puss, and since coming into the RSPCA’s care has put on weight and looks much better than her photograph taken the day she came in. Having said that, she is on regular medication over a thyroid issue which had not been treated and made her look a little gaunt anyway.
