1/2/09 Poppy has found a new home!

Poppy is a tiny 10+ year old cat who is in the care of AARU in Nottinghamshire.
Poppy is the most loving little girl, always trying to climb up onto her fosterers’ knees, even when they are just kneeling down to stroke her. She nuzzles your face and loves to sit on your chest when you’re in bed.
Poppy only has 2 teeth left, making her such an endearing and cute little character. She still loves her food, despite her gumminess, and always licks her dinner plate clean.
AARU aren’t sure exactly how old Poppy is. She is very alert and still likes to play and run around sometimes. In fact, she recovered from the operation to remove her teeth, extremely well, and is obviously feeling so much better now. It seems to have given her a new lease of life!
AARU believe she would like a family without young children because she can hiss at times, but it is all bravado as she then she jumps up for a cuddle. She is always purring and is content to watch the world go by from a comfy chair.
